About Stillwater

A neighborhood yoga studio on Pearl Street East, run by the people who teach in it.

How we started

Two rooms, cork floors, no mirrors

Dana opened Stillwater in 2018 with a simple idea. Teach small, unhurried classes in a calm room, and let people practice for themselves.

We have two rooms, the Creek room and the Meadow room, both with warm cork floors. No mirrors, no competition energy, and never more than fourteen mats. This is a neighborhood place, not corporate wellness.

Big news

The Meadow room reopens

Our second room, the Meadow room, has been closed for a gentle renovation. It reopens on 1 October 2026, brighter and calmer than before.

We are marking it with workshops right through the opening weekend, guest teachers included. Keep an eye on the schedule and our Instagram for the full lineup.

The kettle is on. Your first class is the hardest part, and it is easier than you think.
